RICHARDSON, TX – Terence Collier, president of CVInc and technical consultant for Air Products, will present a BPS product demonstration on August 26.
“How BPS Can Help You Lower Your ENIG Process Costs and Reduce Cu in Wastewater” will take place at CVInc.
BPS-172 is designed to help lower costs and cycle times during electroless and electrolytic plating, while lowering DI water consumption.
The process is gentler on the environment because the copper isn’t “etched” as aggressively, resulting in less copper in the DI water to sequester. Cycle times are reported to be between 5 min. to 10 min., and plating bath costs are lowered by up to $1,500.
After this preliminary presentation, there are plans to bring this demonstration to other cities.
