ST. PAUL, MN -- 3M today reported third-quarter sales at its Electronics and Energy business unit grew 3.8% in the September quarter. Sales for the unit reached $1.4 billion for the period, as increases in the Asia Pacific, Latin America/Canada and EMEA regions offset a decline in the US.

TORONTOFiran Technology Group reported third-quarter sales of $13.3 million, down 5.3% year-over-year. The printed circuit board manufacturer posted a net loss of $551,000 for the period, compared to net income of $155,000 in the same quarter last year.
