SAN JOSE – Flextronics reported fourth-quarter net sales were $6.7 billion, up 27% year-over-year, above previous guidance.
The electronics manufacturer’s GAAP income from continuing operations for the quarter was $43 million, compared to a loss of $49 million in the previous year period. Adjusted net income excludes $55 million of other charges recorded in the quarter ended Mar. 31.
GAAP operating income was $137 million, compared to a loss of $27 million in the fourth quarter 2013.
Net sales for the fiscal year ended Mar. 31 were $26.1 billion, an increase of 10.8% year-over-year. GAAP income from continuing operations was $366 million for the year, up 20.8%. GAAP operating income was $549 million, up 57.3% year-over-year.
For the first quarter ending June 27, revenue is expected in the range of $6 billion to $6.5 billion.
