SAN JOSE, CA – Sanmina Corp. reported fiscal second-quarter revenue ended Mar. 29 of $1.48 billion, up 3.5% year-over-year, and up 2% sequentially.
GAAP net income in the second quarter was $20.8 million, down 1.9% year-over-year.
GAAP operating income was $45.3 million, or 3.1% of revenue, down 1.09% compared to the second quarter of 2013.
"Our outlook for revenue growth in the second half of the year remains optimistic as new programs ramp and demand improves across a broad set of customers. As we further diversify our business, we believe our revenue and profitability will continue to improve," said Jure Sola, chairman and CEO of Sanmina.
The firm expects fiscal third-quarter revenue between $1.5 billion and $1.6 billion.
