HERTFORDSHIRE, UK – The global TV market is on track to achieve 1.2% growth in 2020 and is set to end the year with more than 233 million shipments, according to Futuresource Consulting. Trade value is forecast to decline 1% to $83.7 billion.

MCLEAN, VA – US manufacturing technology orders totaled $383.8 million in October, down 1.9% year-over-year and up 3.7% sequentially, the highest dollar value since December 2019, according to the Association for Manufacturing Technology.

FRAMINGHAM, MA – Vendor revenue in the worldwide server market grew 2.2% year-over-year to $22.6 billion during the third quarter, according to International Data Corp. In the same period, worldwide server shipments declined 0.2% year-over-year to nearly 3.1 million units.

SCOTTSDALE, AZ – Each of the top-five IC product categories in terms of 2020 sales all have ties to computing or communication applications, says IC Insights. With estimated sales of $65.2 billion, DRAM tops the list with the greatest sales revenue this year, followed by NAND flash. Computer and cellphone processors also make the list, along with computer—special purpose logic.
