ARLINGTON, VA – Sales confidence across the electronic components industry remains firmly positive, according to the latest monthly and quarterly Industry Pulse surveys from the Electronic Components Industry Association (ECIA).

WASHINGTON, DC – Global semiconductor sales totaled $82.5 billion in January, increasing 3.7% from December’s $79.6 billion and jumping 46.1% compared with $56.5 billion in January 2025, according to the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA).

BOSTON, MA – Worldwide smartphone shipments are expected to fall 12.9% in 2026 to about 1.1 billion units, marking the largest annual decline on record as a global memory shortage disrupts the consumer electronics supply chain, according to new data from IDC.
