BANNOCKBURN, IL -- The 90-day shipments at North American electronics manufacturing services companies in June rose 3% from a year ago, the Global Electronics Association said today.

MILPITAS, CA — Worldwide silicon wafer shipments increased 9.6% year-on-year to 3.33 billion square inches (MSI) from the 3.04 billion MSI recorded during the same quarter of 2024, the SEMI Silicon Manufacturers Group (SMG) reported today.

MILPITAS, CA – Global semiconductor manufacturing equipment sales will reach $125.5 billion this year, up 7.4% year-over-year, according to SEMI’s mid-year report. Growth is being fueled by AI demand and technology transitions in logic and memory, the trade group added.

MILPITAS, CA – Global sales of printed circuit board and multichip module (PCB/MCM) design tools rose 5.5% in the first quarter from the same time last year, reaching $399.8 million, according to the latest Electronic Design Market Data (EDMD) report from the ESD Alliance.

WASHINGTON – Global semiconductor sales reached $59 billion in May, a 27% year-over-year increase, according to data released today by the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA). Sales were up 3.5% month-over-month from April’s total of $57 billion.
