DUBLIN -- The market for flexible electronics is expected to grow at a CAGR of 44.3% between 2014 and 2020, boosted by all types of end-products.

Research and Markets says consumer electronics, especially smartphones, televisions and tablets, will lead the way.

The flexible electronics market is expected to reach $13.23 billion by 2020.

Currently thin film photovoltaic (CIGS) accounted for largest share mainly due to the fact that CIGS panels are widely used for secondary power generation across the globe. In coming years, along with the consumer electronics automotive and healthcare sectors are expected to grow faster.
