THIEF RIVER FALLS, MN and BALLERUP, DENMARK – MEC Switches, one of Europe’s leading designers and manufacturers of high quality switches, and Digi-Key Corp. have signed a global distribution agreement.

Digi-Key will stock MEC’s three main lines of switches: Multimec, Illumec and Unimec.

As a VAR, the company can offer additional consulting services and technical support, addressing electrical and mechanical elements of design, and include PLM solutions. 


MUNICH, GERMANY and WESTFORD, MA – After a three-year research project in Europe, Zuken will introduce CR-5000 Lightning version 12, high-speed software for power integrity analysis.
 
Scheduled for release in the fall, this latest version is a direct result of collaboration between Zuken, IC vendors and automotive electronic suppliers that focused on improving the development process, as well as modeling new chip sets and dedicated HDI.
 
As a result, CR-5000’s signal integrity analysis capabilities are improved, allowing modeling of package parasitic effects. In later versions of the software, dedicated IC models will be supported in the analysis phase.
