BANNOCKBURN, IL – IPC presented Special Recognition, Distinguished Committee Leadership and Distinguished Committee Service awards at its trade show this week.
The awards were presented to individuals who have made significant contributions to IPC and the electronics industry.
Special Recognition award recipients were Marg Drouin, Cirtronics Corp.; Mike Freda, Sun Microsystems; Mike Bryant, BGF Industries and Silvio Bertling, Neltec; Kathy Johnston, Raytheon Missile Systems; Daniel Foster, Defense Acquisition, and Jeannette Plante, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.
Distinguished Committee Leadership awards went to Antonio Senese of Panasonic Electric Works and Douglas Sober of Kaneka Texas Corp.; George Milad, Uyemura International Corp. and Gerard O’Brien, Solderability Testing & Solutions; Michael Jouppi, Lockheed Martin; Hue Green, Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co., and Garry McGuire, NASA Marshall Space Flight Center.
Distinguished Committee Service awards were presented to Michael Beauchesne of Amphenol Printed Circuits; Silvio Bertling of Neltec; Tracy Cai, Guangdong Shengyi Sci. Tech; Terry Fischer, Hitachi Chemical Co.; Robert Hearn, Dow Chemical; Douglas Leys, Nelco Products; Rolland Savage, High Performance Copper Foil; Crystal Vanderpan, Underwriters Laboratories; Daniel Welch, Arlon MED; Dewey Whittaker, Honeywell Inc. Air Transport Systems and Karl Sauter, Sun Microsystems for their contributions to IPC-4101C, Specification for Base Materials for Rigid and Multilayer Printed Boards.
