BRUSSELSCircuits.io is offering a web-based circuit board design system made for hobbyists, including a library of open source component designs, say published reports.

The company will soon offer a print-on-demand service as well.

The site has hundreds of components hackers can use, and users can share their own designs. Hackers can also make copies that can be modified and shared.

The online editor and open source libraries are free. The firm’s income will come from its print-on-demand service.

Circuits.io was founded earlier this year by Schrauwen Karel Bruneel and Ben Schrauwen Bruneel.
