WEST SUSSEX, ENGLAND – Chris Buckland has retired from Artetch Circuits Ltd. after 25 years. He ends his career as sales director, having started with the company as sales manager.
 
“I am very sorry to say goodbye to Chris, he has contributed a lot to the growth of Artetch over the years, and I wish him every success in his retirement,” said Martin Morrell, managing director.
 
Mark Gibson will replace Buckland as sales director. He brings over 25 years of experience in the industry, having worked for Artetch nearly 21 years ago. Prior to his return to the company, Gibson worked for various PCB manufacturers including Via Systems, Hadco and Sanmina.

MILPITAS, CA – Lenthor Engineering has purchased a PerfecTest system to improve its registration process.
 
The system generates data that distinguishes between material expansion and movement while providing process feedback to image, lamination and drilling. Engineers are able to reduce inner layer registration error and improve manufacturing cycle time based on the inner layer scale coefficients provided by the data.

DONGGUAN, CHINA -- Dongguan Somacis Graphic (DSG) has received ISO9000-1, ISO14000-1 and UL approvals in addition to TUV ISO/TS 16949 certification.

The ISO/TS 16949:2002 specification is recognized in the automotive industry and provided by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) as a certification that combines the four best known automotive standards; QS-9000, VDA 6.1, EAQF e AVSQ, in a single recommendation.

The DSG supplies quick turn, pre-production and volume quantities of PCBs including rigid-flex, CIC, multilayers with microvias, buried and blind vias, filled vias, PTFE, thick copper foils and high layer count product up to 30 layers.
DENVER – RJR Circuits Inc. has added a Printar LGP 509 Digital Legend Printing System and two Excellon Uniline2000 Single Spindle drill machines to its facility. The equipment will increase RJR’s capacity and assist the company with continuing to meet quality and delivery objectives.
