Amphenol Completes FCI Acquisition

WALLINGFORD, CT -- Amphenol announced today that it has completed the previously announced acquisition of FCI Asia Pte. Ltd.

FCI is as supplier of connectors and other interconnect solutions for the telecom, datacom, wireless communications and industrial markets.

Last June, Amphenol announced a binding offer of $1.275 billion to acquire FCI Asia, bringing further consolidation to the worldwide connector market.
