STAMFORD, CT – Market research firm Gartner today raised its 2016 worldwide IT spending outlook to $3.41 trillion, flat with 2015's results. Last quarter the firm predicted IT spending would drop 0.5%. The change in the forecast is mainly a result of currency fluctuations, the firm says.

WASHINGTON — Worldwide semiconductor sales fell 7.7% in May from a year ago, to $26 billion.

BANNOCKBURN, IL — The 90-day moving average orders at North American printed circuit board fabricators slowed in May but remained ahead of last year’s level.

FRAMINGHAM, MA – Worldwide PC monitor shipments rose 0.5% year-over-year in the first quarter to more than 29 million units. Sequential shipments decreased 5.7%, according to International Data Corp.
