ANAHEIM, CA – Multi-Fineline Electronix, Inc. announced it has expanded its board of directors from seven to nine and has named Reza Meshgin and Donald K. Schwanz as new directors. Meshgin was appointed as MFLEX’s CEO in March 2008. He joined MFLEX in 1989. He was named president and COO in December 2003. 
 
Phil Harding, chairman of MFLEX’s board of directors, said the company needed to expand the size of the board from seven to nine members to maintain a majority of independent directors, in accordance with the company's bylaws.
 
MFLEX also named Matthew Wolk as vice president corporate development and chief strategy officer. In this role Wolk will evaluate the company's business strategy and ensure MFLEX's decision making and operations are aligned with the company’s strategic goals and objectives.
