FRASER, MI - K & F Electronics has landed a three-year contract to supply printed circuit boards to the Federal Aviation Administration’s Aeronautical Center.
Rick Kincaid, company CEO, credits the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) at Macomb Community College for its assistance with the government procurement process.
“Actually, all of our customers will benefit from our role as a government contractor. There are certain processes we had to put into place to insure quality control. As a result, all of our jobs will receive the same treatment.”

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Old Bridge Metals & Chemicals and Micronutrients has announced that Micronutrients has acquired the fresh alkaline and spent etchant recycling business from Old Bridge Metals & Chemicals.
Old Bridge Metals & Chemicals will cease the manufacturing and the recycling of alkaline etchants for the PCB industry by the third quarter 2008.
Micronutrients will continue to manufacture and supply ammoniacal etchants to the PCB industry and to collect the spent materials at its facility in Indianapolis.
According to a release, this transaction will not affect Old Bridge Metals & Chemicals’ copper sulfate and copper carbonate manufacturing businesses, or their manufacture of inorganic chemicals including zinc sulfate and zinc chloride.
