FRANKFURT -- German PWB fabricators reported higher revenues for the third straight month in July, up 7.2% sequentially, the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association said.
Sales reached their highest point since November 2008. However, sales are down 66% year-over-year.
The book-to-bill ratio was 1.25, up a staggering 650 basis points, breaking an eight-month drop. A ratio of 1.25 means that for every 100 euros worth of boards sold, 125 euros worth of orders were placed. A ratio over 1.0 is considered a sign of an improving market. Save
The trade group said orders were up 122% sequentially and 2.5% year-over-year.
