SHANGHAI – The total revenue of 100 China-funded PCB companies in 2019 was 110.6 billion yuan (US$15.8 billion), up 29.1% year-over-year, says the China Printed Circuit Association. The top three were Dongshan Precision, Shennan Circuit, and Jingwang Electronics.

The total operating income of 100 PCB companies in China was RMB237.4 billion last year, up 13.1% year-over-year. The top three companies were Peng Ding Holdings, Dongshan Precision, and Jianding Technology. Dongshan Precision rose from third to second, according to CPCA.

Four companies had revenue of more than 10 billion yuan, including Pengding Holdings, Dongshan Precision, Jianding Technology, and Shennan Circuit. Seven firms had revenue over 5 billion yuan: Huatong Computer, Kingboard Group, Zixiang Electronics, Xinxing Electronics, Hu Shi Electronics, Autos, and Jingwang Electronics. Huatong Computer, Kingboard Group and Jingwang Electronics were new additions.

Five companies had year-over-year increases of more than 40%: Xipu Electronics, Shengyi Electronics, Ningbo Huayuan, Dongshan Precision, and Qili Electronics. Six companies had year-over-year increases of 30% to 40%: Shennan Circuit, Guanghe Technology, Zhejiang Zhenyou, Bomin Electronics, Jiangsu Chuanyi, and Guangdong Junya. Nine companies had year-over-year increases of 20% to 30%: Hetong Jianye, Hushi Electronics, Sihui Fushi, Jingwang Electronics, Zhuhai Founder, Agilent, Zhongjing Electronics, Jinpeng Yuankang, and Jinlu Electronics. Nine companies had year-over-year increases of 15% to 20%: Tectronics, Shenghong Technology, Longyu Electronics, Hangsheng Circuit, Jiangxi Lianyi, Zhongfu Circuit, Jialianyi, Xinghe Circuit, and Meizhou Xingcheng.

Another 17 companies had year-over-year increases of 10% to 15%: Dingying Electronics, Zhejiang Oulong, Kejie Circuits, Zhuhai Yueya, Punov, Xinxing Electronics, World Games Circuit, Linan Pengyu, Ke Xiang Electronics, Red Board, Zhejiang Junhao, Liyuda, Leaderboard, Jiajietong, Mutelai, Xinyu Tengyue, and Shenzhen United Circuit. Some 38 companies had year-over-year increases of 0% to 10%.

Another 30 companies had year-over-year decreases of less than 10%; 13 companies had year-over-year declines of 10% to 20%; four companies had year-over-year drops of more than 20%, for a total of 47 companies.

Among China’s copper-clad laminate firms, 17 companies listed in 2019 had total operating income of RMB45.4 billion, excluding Guangdong Shengyi, included in PCB firms. Some 18 companies had total operating income of RMB50.8 billion. Operating income of copper clad laminate companies fell 10.6% year-over-year.

Longyu Electronics and Zhejiang Huazheng had year-over-year increases of 20% to 30%. Zhongshan Xingao, Huashuo Technology, and Kingboard Laminate had year-over-year increases of 10% to 20%.

In the special materials group, 20 companies had total operating income of RMB18.6 billion, up 4.2% year-over-year. Dingtai Hi-Tech, Jiayuan Technology, and Jinchang Nickel Capital had year-over-year increases of more than 20%. Whirlpool and Yanmo Technology Special chemicals had year-over-year increases of 10% to 20%.

In 2019, 15 special chemical companies had total operating income of RMB6.3 billion, up 7.7% year-over-year. Stand and Tiancheng Technology had year-over-year growth of more than 20%. Changzhou Qiangli, Songbai Industrial, Guanghua Chemical, Xilong Science, and Atotech had year-over-year increases of 10% to 20%.  

In the category of special equipment and instruments, 13 companies in 2019 had total operating income of RMB6.8 billion, down 5.8%. Vega CNC, Mason Electronics, and Viacom had year-over-year increases of more than 20%. Hefei Xinqi and Universe Group had year-over-year increases of 10% to 20%. Han's CNC and Zhengye Technology had operating income exceeding RMB1 billion. Hanzu has been first in special equipment and instruments four consecutive years.
