HOLLISTER, CA -- Royal Circuit Solutions has completed its acquisition of South Coast Circuits, expanding its quickturn printed circuit board fabrication services.

SAN JOSE – Sanmina reported fiscal third quarter net sales of $1.66 billion, up 0.18% year-over-year. For the quarter ended Jul. 3, net income was $117.4 million, an increase of 161.5% compared to the same period last year. Operating income was $74.3 million, up 15.9%.

PENANG – Simmtech said it would invest US$120 million to set up a 72,000 sq. m. printed circuit substrate manufacturing plant in Penang, according to reports.

CHANDLER, AZ – Rogers Corp. reported second quarter net sales of $234.9 million, up 22.9% year-over-year and 2.4% sequentially from higher sales in the AES business unit.
