TAIPEI Foxconn has hired Chu-Ching Hu, who in May resigned as head of Unimicron Technology’s IC substrate division.

Hu will reportedly lead the substrate business unit of Foxconn Advanced Technology, say industry sources.

FAT, located in Shangdong, eastern China, specializes in the manufacture of flexible printed circuit boards.

Prior to joining Unimicron, Hu served as president of Phoenix Precision Technology.

HAMPSTEAD, NHP.D. Circuits has appointed Kathleen Nargi-Toth as its technical director.

Nargi-Toth will provide technical support and education to the company’s customers and employees. She is responsible for managing the firm’s fabrication partners.

She has worked on process engineering projects with hundreds of PCB fabricators around the globe.

Nargi-Toth is the former editor-in-chief and technical editor of Printed Circuit Design and Manufacture magazine, and is a founding member of the Electronics Industry Center of Excellence. She has more than 30 years’ experience in the printed circuit board industry, having worked for a fabricator and at Enthone.
