TAIPEI – Foxconn has hired Chu-Ching Hu, who in May resigned as head of Unimicron Technology’s IC substrate division.

Hu will reportedly lead the substrate business unit of Foxconn Advanced Technology, say industry sources.

FAT, located in Shangdong, eastern China, specializes in the manufacture of flexible printed circuit boards.

Prior to joining Unimicron, Hu served as president of Phoenix Precision Technology.
