TAIPEI -- Apple's primary printed circuit board fabricators are cutting prices for the coming quarter due to waning demand for older models of iPads and iPhones, according to reports.
At least some of the companies, including Compeq Manufacturing, Nan Ya PCB, Tripod Technology and Unimicron Technology, are reportedly dropping their PCB quotes 10% on average, DigiTimes reported today, citing industry sources.
The fabricators reportedly have seen lower demand for Apple products in the current quarter, DigiTimes reported.
Apple has a new 4G phone due later this year.
