WEST HAVEN, CTEnthone has granted Atotech Deutschland a license under an immersion tin patent.

The Enthone patent encompasses technology that mitigates the propensity for whisker growth. It allows the use of metals, such as silver, to be incorporated within the tin process solution.

The patent is registered in Europe, Asia and the US. Terms of the license agreement remain confidential.

CLEVELANDOM Group said it expects second-quarter 2011 net sales between $328 million and $332 million, and operating profit between $26 million and $30 million.
