FENGXIAN, CHINA – Enthone has broken ground on a new $30 million technical and manufacturing center in the Fengxian District of Shanghai. It will be fully operational next spring, the company said.
The center, which represents a total investment exceeding $30 million, will encompass more than 10 acres and consist of a raw material and finished goods warehouse, manufacturing building, and a technology center. It will serve the automotive, building hardware, energy, industrial finishes and electronics industries.
The facility will also house the Enthone Plating Academy. The academy trains OEMs and other applications customers on meeting technology challenges and emerging industry requirements.
