Amphenol Has Record Q3

WALLINGFORD, CT -- Amphenol's Interconnect Product group today reported third-quarter revenue of $881 million, up 36% year-over-year.

Operating income was up 55% to $196.1 million. Interconnect Products includes printed circuit boards and connectors.

For the quarter, the company reported overall sales of $948 million, up 32%. Operating margins were up 260 basis points to 19.9% Cash flow from operations was $128 million.

Amphenol guided for fourth-quarter revenues of $933 million to $948 million. "While global demand has significantly increased in the last several quarters, there remains a degree of uncertainty in the worldwide economy," the company said in a press release.
