CLEVELAND -- The US Small Business Administration has awarded a $500,000 program to NorTech, a regional technology advocacy group focused on the development of electronics devices printed on flexible materials in the Northeast.

NorTech reportedly will work jointly with other small companies to flesh out projects that result in commercial products, under the auspices of Kent State University's Manufacturing and Technology Small Business Development Center.

NorTech was one of 10 recipients of the SBA Innovative Economies program, which awarded some $5 million in all.
