BANGKOK – PCB maker KCE Electronics said its sales this year could set a record, with revenue expected to increase 10-15% in the second half.

The firm, which reported $111 million in sales the first half, says second-half revenue could top $120 million. Total 2010 sales are expected to reach $240 million, up 40% year-over-year, on strong automotive orders.

In the first half, KCE swung to a net profit of $10.7 million, up from a net loss of $3.6 million in 2009.

In the second quarter, earnings were more than $5 million, up from $126,000 in the same quarter last year, with sales rising 56% to $58.6 million.

The company has authorized a $6.3 million investment in new capacity.
