LAS VEGAS – PCD&F today announced the winners of the 2010 New Product Introduction Award for PCB design and fabrication.

The NPI Award, in its third year, recognizes leading new products during the past 12 months. An independent panel of practicing industry engineers selected the recipients.

The category winners are:

Laminates -- Rogers Corp. (RO4360 Thermoset)

Imaging -- WKK Distribution Ltd. (X-Pose SM120 Exposure System)

System Modeling and Simulation Tools -- National Instruments (NI Multisim 11.0 Circuit Simulation & Analysis Software)

PCB Design Tools -- Sunstone Circuits (PCB123)

The awards were presented yesterday during a special ceremony during the IPC Apex trade show.

“Many of this year’s winners addressed real manufacturing issues,” said Mike Buetow, editor-in-chief of PCD&F. “We are thrilled to recognize their creative engineering achievements.”
