TAIPEI -- Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai) reported December revenues fell 9.7% sequentially to NT$133.1 billion (US$4.2 billion).

Sales were up 8.98% year-over-year.

For the year, electronics design and manufacturing services company had revenues of NT$1.42 trillion, down 3.6% from 2008 ($44.7 billion).

Foxconn said the December dip was due to seasonality in consumer electronics, while the PC and communications segments were flat.

The company does not break out EMS, printed circuit board and connector sales.
