TAIPEI, TAIWAN – Nan Ya Printed Circuit Board (NPC) received a favorable ruling from the intellectual property court in Taiwan, reports DigiTimes.

In February of 2006, Phoenix Precision Technology (PPT) filed a patent infringement against NPC. The claim concerned PPT’s electroplating nickel/gold process and structures for electric contact pads of chip package substrates, according to DigiTimes.

PPT then filed an appeal after the Taipei District Court ruled against the original suit in August 2008. The company will not seek further litigation concerning the case, according to NPC.
