HYDERABAD, INDIA — Sulakshana Circuits (SCL) is selecting a site for a new high-tech PCB plant here. The new plant will increase the fabricator’s capacity and technology levels.

SCL currently manufactures up to 8-layer, rigid FR-4 PCBs.

“We will start with 10-24 layers, Class 2 & 3 and 3/3 mil in the new facility to take advantage of the exploding market for high-technology boards from the automotive, defense, aerospace, medical and high-technology industries,” said Durga Rao, managing director.

The company plans to expand further for high-volume automotive or cellphone manufacture.

The firm recorded revenue growth of 25% in fiscal 2019.
