DALLAS, TX – Electronics component manufacturer Abracon has been acquired by a private equity firm for an undisclosed sum, according to published reports.

The Riverside Co. acquired Abracon from Evergreen Pacific Partners, which in turn bought the firm in 2015. Abracon provides passive and electromechanical timing, synchronization, power, connectivity and radio frequency components.

In January, Abracon Acquisition Co., created to complete the reportedly $110 million deal, sued the firm for allegedly not disclosing it was about to lose its largest client.

“Abracon is already highly diversified with its product offering and geographic footprint," said Riverside partner Tim Gosline in a statement. "However, we look forward to further expanding product categories where the organization may have a limited offering today. Additionally, we believe there will be strategic add-on opportunities in this fragmented market."
