DARMSTADT, GERMANYComputer Simulation Technology announced winners of the CST University Publication Award 2010 to the following papers:

“Towards Contrast Enhanced Breast Imaging using Ultra-Wideband Microwave Radar System” by M. Klemm, J. Leendertz, D. Gibbins, I.J. Craddock, A. Preece, and R. Benjamin; “Compact Beam-Steerable Lens Antenna for 60-GHz Wireless Communications” by Jorge R. Costa and Eduardo B. Lima; “Performance of a Multiband Diversity Antenna With Hand and Head Effects” by Vanja Plicanic, Buon Kiong Lau, Anders Derneryd, and Zhinong Ying.

The short paper award went to “Micromachined Millimeter-wave Butler Matrix with a Patch Antenna Array” by N. A. Murad, M. J. Lancaster, Yi Wang, and M. L. Ke.

The award is an annual grant to university institutes and researchers for their work in the application of 3D EM field simulation. The winners are awarded with extensions to their CST Studio Suite installations.

Submissions were evaluated on originality, clarity of presentation, and the skillful use of CST software features.
