COLLEGE PARK, MD – Minnetronix will use Sherlock Automated Design Analysis software from DfR Solutions to improve medical device product design.

Sherlock is for analyzing, grading, and certifying the expected reliability of products at the circuit card assembly level.

“With the Sherlock tool, we can quickly and accurately analyze thermal and mechanical stress on a circuit assembly and use the information to improve our designs without the expense of repeated reliability testing,” says Lori Lucke, principal systems engineer at Minnetronix. 

Sherlock reportedly enables electronics manufacturers to design-in product reliability earlier in the product development process.
