MARLBOROUGH, MA – DownStream Technologies LLC announced that it has begun shipping CAM350 Release 10 and BluePrint-PCB Release 2. In addition, the company is offering the two products for download. After extensive development, integration between the products is complete, providing a synergistic solution for PCB post-processing.

Users can create and distribute deliverables needed for a PCB fabrication and assembly release package in a single electronic file. To enhance the release effort, DownStream has updated configurations and available options, as well as adjusted the price-offering users the ability to upgrade their license of CAM350 affordably.

DownStream has also released CAM350-150, providing a PCB design post-process solution. Features include solder and paste mask creation, assembly panel array definition, netlist comparison between the design and Gerber data and the Release Package Navigator-available to existing CAM350-110 users as an affordable add-on module.

With the Release Package Navigator, users can export Gerber, Drill, Mill and ODB++ files directly into an electronic Release Package file. Also, numerous formats, such as PDF, DXF and schematic, can be added to the release package. Deliverables for manufacturing can be contained in one electronic file.

The company is also shipping the Panel Drawing module, an add-on option to BluePrint-PCB v2.0. It includes necessary tools and functionality to create panel documents with dimensions, fiducial and pinning locations, note blocks and panel level drill charts. Node-locked only versions of BluePrint configurations are also offered.
