PISCATAWAY, NJ – Mentor Graphics recently received the IEEE Standards Association (IEEE-SA) 2008 Corporate Award. The honor acknowledges Mentor’s “visionary leadership in bringing greater efficiency to the standards development process in the Design Automation Standards Committee through the adoption and support of the entity based development model.”

For over two decades, Mentor has provided consistent support and leadership within the IEEE-SA Corporate Program– supplying technical assistance in developing EDA standards, providing technology for IEEE-SA consideration and taking an active role in IEEE-SA governance.

“This award honors Mentor Graphics for its leadership and dedication in partnering with us to create standards for EDA technologies,” says Judy Gorman, managing director of IEEE-SA. “Industry has embraced many of these standards, and they have helped to change the way that people and businesses communicate around the globe.”
