Hirose Develops FH62 FPC Connector

FH62 compact flexible printed circuit (FPC) connector has a single-action lock designed for automatic assembly. Reportedly simplifies design process.

Supports USB 3.0, embedded DisplayPort v. 1.3 and MIPI D-PHY v. 1.1 standards. Has 0.25mm pitch, 1.1mm height and width of 4mm. Has top contact design that reportedly offers excellent impedance characteristics and high-speed data transmission. Design has low-insertion force and high-retention force. Single-action lock design provides reliability required in portable electronic devices. Includes wide guides for smooth FPC insertion. Is available in 35-position version that is halogen-free and RoHS compliant.
