Tampa, FL—Thursday, June 27, 2019— Leader Tech announces the appointment of Tracy Kuhns to the position of President of Leader Tech Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of HEICO Corporation. Tracy will report to Bob McKenna through a transitional period as Bob assumes other corporate responsibilities. This organizational change is effective immediately. As President of Leader Tech Inc., Tracy will focus on global growth, new product introductions, automation and marketing and sales initiatives.

Tracy is a seasoned executive with over 35 years of technical and management experience with EMI/RFI Shielding products. His career began as a Sales Engineer with Electro-Space Fabricators in Pennsylvania.  He also worked for several other well-known companies, in various senior level capacities, that included Instrument Specialties and Laird Technologies. Tracy joined Leader Tech over nine years ago as a Regional Sales Manager and approximately 6 years ago moved to Tampa as Director of Sales and Marketing. A little over a year ago, Tracy was promoted to COO of Leader Tech. He has been a key player in Leader Tech’s growth over the full 9 years of his tenure with the company.

Under his direction, Leader Tech has expanded its sales force from several direct sales people to over 100 Manufacturer’s Representatives, Agents in Europe and several major global distributors.  Tracy has been an advocate for automating the manufacturing processes utilized at Leader Tech and has also, been influential in bringing new technologies and products to the company.  Tracy has also driven the expanded focus on supplying EMI/RFI products to major Automotive, Aerospace and Military contractors.
