PEACHTREE CITY, GA – JULY 22, 2025 – The exhibition floor space is almost sold out for this year’s PCB West, the largest exhibition and conference for printed circuit board design, fabrication and assembly in the Silicon Valley, Printed Circuit Engineering Association (PCEA) said today. Fewer than 10 booths remain for the annual event, PCEA added.

PEACHTREE CITY, GA – Abstracts for next year’s PCB East technical conference are due September 5, the Printed Circuit Engineering Association announced today. The conference, the largest of its kind in New England, takes place next spring in the Boston suburbs, and focuses on training and best practices for printed circuit board design engineers, electronics design engineers, fabricators and assemblers.

NEEDHAM, MA – Global PC shipments grew 6.5% year-over-year in the second quarter, reaching 68.4 million units, according to preliminary data from IDC. The report signals vendors are front-loading shipments to stay ahead of looming US tariff deadlines, even as the American market shows signs of softening.

SYRACUSE, NY – TTM Technologies reports significant construction progress at its upcoming ultra-HDI PCB manufacturing facility in Syracuse, as the company enters a critical summer build phase. Site curbing is underway, with paving having commenced in June. Transformers are now set and scheduled for energization in the coming weeks, while final glazing and exterior finishes are on track for July completion.

SUNNYVALE, CA – Synopsys has officially completed its acquisition of Ansys, finalizing a deal first announced in January of last year. The move combines Synopsys’ strengths in silicon design and IP with Ansys’ system simulation capabilities, positioning the company to address a market now estimated at $31 billion.

SAN FRANCISCO – AllSpice.io, a leading hardware development collaboration platform, announced it has raised $15 million in a Series A round led by Rethink Impact, with participation from L'ATTITUDE Ventures, GingerBread Capital, DNX Ventures and existing investors.
