ATLANTA, GA – FEBRUARY 25, 2020 – The exhibition floor for PCB West is sold out for the ninth straight year, UP Media Group Inc. said today. The annual show, the largest conference and exhibition for printed circuit board design, fabrication and assembly in the Silicon Valley, returns to the Santa Clara (CA) Exhibition Center on September 8-11.

MUNICH – German startup Celus (formerly Contunity) has announced a €1.7 million (US$1.84 million) seed round that will fuel the company’s ambition to turn simple plans into complex printed circuit board designs in 90% less time.

SYDNEY – Altium reported Board and Systems (Altium Designer, Circuit Studio, SolidWorks PCB) revenue of $65.4 million for the half-year ended Dec. 31, an increase of 12% year-over-year.

SAN JOSE – Cadence Design Systems reported fourth quarter revenue of $600 million, up 5.3% year-over-year. Net income was $660 million, up 574% compared to the fourth quarter of 2018. GAAP net income for the quarter included a one-time non-cash tax benefit of $576 million related to intercompany transfers of certain IP rights to Cadence's Irish subsidiary.
