AUSTINNational Instruments announced new connectivity between NI LabVIEW system design software and AWR Visual System Simulator software for RF and microwave system design.

The connectivity helps engineers execute LabVIEW code directly from the AWR design environment. The AWR design environment can now incorporate LabVIEW signal processing capabilities, including multi-rate digital signal processing, wireless standards, modulation, and fixed-point math.

Engineers can integrate VHDL and LabVIEW FPGA module code through NI field-programmable gate array-based hardware directly into VSS diagrams.

New connectivity to both PXI and traditional RF instrumentation helps incorporate measurement data into simulations.

SAN JOSEShocking Technologies said it has integrated its ESD simulation module and design capability for embedded ESD protection into Cadence Design System’s Allegro PCB technology.
