OYSTER BAY, NY – Nearly 30 million wearable wireless mobile health (mHealth) devices shipped in 2012, up 37% over 2011.

The addition of Bluetooth Smart Ready connectivity in many smartphones is driving a new wave of interest and investment in the capabilities of wearable sensoring devices. Between 2011 and 2017 the market for these devices will grow at a CAGR of nearly 40%, says ABI Research.

mHealth devices often have two or more printed circuit boards, including at least one flexible circuit.
