FRANKFURT – Germany printed circuit board fabricators reported August revenues reached their third-highest level in the past 10 years.

Sequential revenues were up 2% for the month, while year-to-date revenues were up 14% year-over-year, says ZVEI.

Incoming orders fell on uncertainty due to the global economic environment, ZVEI said. Incoming orders in August were the second lowest in the past year. The book-to-bill ratio was 0.75.

Germany’s workforce increased slightly compared to July. New jobs grew 5.5% year-over-year in August.
