FRANKFURT, GERMANY – Germany’s PCB market continues to decline, as first-quarter sales fell 37% compared to last year, reports the ZVEI.
 
Orders dropped 45% for March and 54% for the first three months.

The book-to-bill for March was 0.91, marking the fifth consecutive month below 1.0. The industry does not expect to see an improvement for several months, says ZVEI.
 
Workforce numbers also continue to dwindle. March saw jobs down by 1.8% compared to February, with first-quarter losses at 14%, according to ZVEI.
