ATLANTA – The third quarter distributor total available market for electronic components built on the second quarter surge in sales growth from the low point of the second quarter of 2020, as quarterly revenues exceeded $6.6 billion year-over-year in the Americas, representing growth of 21%, according to ECIA.

“The trend shown in this latest update sets the stage for a record-setting year for revenues in 2021, topping the revenues in 2019 of $23.1 billion,” said Dale Ford, ECIA chief analyst. “These results are consistent with the overall surge in economic growth over the past year, as well as the electronic component sales trends research published.”
