MILPITAS, CA – Global semiconductor equipment billings surged 48% year-over-year to a record high of $24.9 billion in the second quarter, a 5% increase sequentially, says SEMI.

North America recorded $1.68 billion in billings in the second quarter, up 2% year-over-year and 25% sequentially. China's billings were $8.22 billion, an increase of 79% compared to the second quarter of 2020, up 38% sequentially.
