WASHINGTON – The Semiconductor Industry Association, along with 16 technology, medical, auto, and other business groups, sent a letter urging President Biden to work with Congress to fully fund domestic semiconductor manufacturing and research provisions established in the recently enacted National Defense Authorization Act.

BRUSSELS – The European Commission published the final report on the study to support the review of the list of restricted substances and to assess a new exemption request under RoHS 2 on Feb. 11. The report includes assessment of seven substances, including Tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBPA), for possible restriction.
