LEOBEN, AUSTRIA – In the third quarter, AT&S Group posted record revenues of EUR 150 million, up 15.4% year-over-year.
EBITDA was about EUR 30.5 million, an increase of 152% compared to the same period last year.
Revenues for the first nine months of the financial year 2012/13 were EUR 405 million, up 8.9% year-over-year.
The firm attributes the increase of operating results compared to the first half of 2012/13 to the launch of new models by smartphone manufacturers and stronger demand for high-end printed circuit boards in the automotive segment. Sales reached record highs for both segments.
There was improved capacity utilization at the firm’s HDI plant in Shanghai.
Revenues for the medical segment were up 50% in the financial year to date, says CEO Andreas Gerstenmayer.
