Circuit Check Buys Cimtek

MAPLE GROVE, MN -- Circuit Check has acquired test systems provider Cimtek, the companies announced.

Terms were not disclosed.

Burlington, Canada-based Cimtek provides electronic test fixturing and interfacing solutions. It was founded in 1979, and added custom turnkey functional test engineering services in 2006.

In a press release, Circuit Check president and CEO Greg Michalko said, "The strategic acquisition of Cimtek increases our technical capabilities, experience and capacity of our engineering services. The unique combination of Circuit Check and Cimtek's experience in automation, test systems, hardware, software, and customer support will drive our industry leadership."

Cimtek will continue to operate under the Cimtek name.
