FRANKFURT, GERMANY – November sales of printed circuit boards in Germany were down 14% year-over-year, and increased 1.6% sequentially, says ZVEI PCB and Electronic Systems. Total sales for the first 11 months of 2011 went up 6% compared to the same period in 2010.

New orders in November rose 51% year-over -year and 44% sequentially. Makers attribute the surge to the recent flooding in Taiwan, particularly for the automotive electronics sector.
